Petit Portelet Painting for 'Design a Stamp Competition'

This is one of my favourite views in Jersey as it is quite dramatic. I used watercolour then worked on top with brush and ink. The results of the competition will be revealed in June.

This is where Major Pierson leads his soldiers into the square where he accidentally goes into the line of fine where he is shot, despite attempts to force his men back.

Battle of Jersey

Here are a series of brush pen drawings illustrating the concluding events of the Battle of Jersey, where the Governor was held captive by French Lieutenant De Rullecour whilst under firing line. De Rullecour is shot and Major Corbet survives. This is all for Jersey Heritage.
